| Demoff Leaves Buccs for Rams The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lost a key member of their front office in senior assistant Kevin Demoff, who has left the Bucs to become the St. Louis Rams executive vice president of football operations and chief operating officer.
Demoff, 32, spent the past three seasons playing a key role in negotiating contracts, and managing and forecasting the salary cap under former Bucs general manager Bruce Allen, who was fired on Jan. 17.
Together, Allen and Demoff got Tampa Bay out of a difficult salary cap situation a few years ago to $46 million under the cap this offseason.
New Bucs general manager Mark Dominik planned to lean on Demoff, who was retained after Allen was fired, in the same capacity, so his departure to St. Louis could be felt in the Bucs front office with free agency beginning in just one month.
