Quarterback Jay Fiedler has signed a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Bucs, and will now compete with Tim Rattay for the backup job to starter Chris Simms. Always good to have a veteran QB on your roster, and if he's healthy, I think Fiedler's a better player than Rattay. Good signing by the Buccaneers, right?

Oh please!...Fielder is a goofball...he had top flight receivers and a run game in Miami and couldn't hold a job...Rattay did far better with less talent in San Fran. My vote is for Rattay...come on buddy, for me...switch over to the Rattay camp.

Only if they sign Troy Edwards too. Boy did that duo do some damage at La. Tech, especially against Nebraska!
