Just how vital is Carnell Cadillac Williams to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers chances in 2006?

Essential, according to this writer, and I tend to agree with him. "When Williams was on his game, he was as brilliant as a back could possibly be," it says in the above article. "This season, if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers expect to duplicate or improve on their 11-5 mark from last year, they'll need a healthy Cadillac to roll over enemy defenses."

So what kind of season do you expect out of the Cadillac, and out of the Bucs as well?

Careful not to overuse him. Even Cadillacs break down. Thats why I like the Bears planning to use Benson and Jones. Thats running the ball down the oppositions throat!!! Also key to the Bucs is Chris Simms. He is the man now in Tampa and needs to read those defenses, make the easy and not so easy throws and hopefully have some of those intangibles his dad had in spades. Personally seeing how they progressed last year, I think if the future of the Bucs is Simms and Williams, the future in Tampa is bright indeed! My prediction is another 11-5 record and the playoffs...the NFC Championship might be in the cards for 2007 but it is possible this team can do it now, I just think the Panthers are THE team in the NFC and will run over everyone like a steamroller!

The Caddie was actually a little tougher than i thought he would be...he is a +20 carry work horse...I just don't think Simms will keep the D off of him...

Making the jump from college to the pros is always tough for a running back, with the hard-hitting defenses and the longer season. It had to be especially hard for Williams and Brown, splitting time as they did. The Cadlillac will be ready to go in his 2nd season, though. He should be in better shape and better prepared for life as an NFL tailback.
