QB Jeff Garcia wasnt happy about his performance in the loss to the Saints 24-20, but thinks after playing only one game, he should have been given a chance to work through it.
Even though Garcia had sprained an ankle against the Saints, Gruden made it clear his decision was not based on the injury.
Garcia was 24 out of 41 for 221 yards, 1 td, and 1 interception.
Gruden says despite the benching his relationship with Garcia is fine.
