Apparently, the 2006 Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders are going to be featured in several episodes of the NFL Network show "Making the Squad". Here, direct from the above article, is some of what viewers can expect to see.

For the majority of the nationwide audience, however, the show works because it is a poignant collection of individual stories.

Tiffany Jimenez set aside woodshop to jump straight from high school to the pros. Lauren Rudolph balanced motherhood and an NFL dream at age 21. Veronica Serna followed a dream from Texas and grasped it by the (long)horns. Tomoko Kojima won another year of U.S. citizenship along with her spot on the squad. Rachel Watson survived a hair-color change that wasn’t necessarily embraced by the squad coordinator.

Okay, so not every story was life-and-death, but they were all woven together to form an intriguing and entertaining story for one hour on Monday night.

Well, if that doesn't make you want to watch, I don't know what will!

I've always been against cheerleaders at professional sports. Whatever happened to going to a game to well....watch the game?

For all intensive purposes (or from what I have come too understand, I have never been to an NFL game) they are something too gawk at during TV timeouts (which have to be ungodly long, as I have watched many games on television) and comment on with your friends. I mean, the average cheerleader I think makes $40 a game, so it's not like they are the focal point or anything, most of them do it for the minimal amount of exposure or to be around the players.

I use to know a Buc cheerleader on the 1999 Squad. She was a vacant so sort of girl...pretty much on par with the sterotype...

One of my brother's kids pre-school teacher cheers for the Skins...and the report is about the same...

Makes for interesting TV...I mean, I am there for that hair change bit...I am on pins and needles on the change that Rachel girl makes with her hair...

I think it was a boring show - I would have like to see all 28 girls w/ a short bio /interview than just the few girls that got picked for these life & death situations (HA HA)

You know the old saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder - I watched the show but none of those girls did anything for me even though they were quite cute - I saw all of the girls at fanfest & I would have picked some other girls to do the show -

Sometimes the cheerleaders who look smokin hot don't look that great when you're close up. I know the last time I saw some of the Titans cheerleaders an some appearance, most of them looked err..... not so good.
