Given their performance yesterday, how would you rank Simms, McCown and Griese on the depth chart right now? |
based on just the performance yesterday? 1-10. i give mccown a 5, griese a 7, simms a 7, and rookie josh johnson came in late and went 1-1 with a 15 yard completion so he gets a 7. my depth chart hmmm. lol. honestly i feel like griese is the #2 qb behind jeff garcia. he seems further along than mccown, and honestly i would say simms is my #3, and would be fighting for the backup job. he looked very good sat night. they are all talented, and one of these guys will lock down the backup role and someone will get the #3 spot, then they will make josh johnson #4 and release/trade the left out qb. before training camp, that looked to be chris simms, but lets see some more games in preseason and against better competition than the dolphins. the bucs obviously couldnt get anything worth while for simms, as trade talk has been going on all offseason and to the present.
