The transition is almost complete. The 2008 Bucs will be molded in Gruden's image seven years after he inherited Tony Dungy's team. Gruden and GM Bruce Allen have done one of the most difficult juggling acts ever:Reconstructing and rebuilding while still having a competitive team.
Success in 08 may be someday held up as a textbook example of how to build depth in the era of the salary cap.
