Ronde Barber for some mysterious reason, opened his mouth and said some things about the football Giants. "Of course we want to play the Giants. They [win] ugly, Shockey's hurt and Eli has been inconsistent" the active Barber said on his Sirius Radio show.

The Giants have their bulletin board material. "No player claimed credit for posting the quote, but it was definitely seen in its perch near the locker room. It could provide more motivation for a team that has thrived on slights, perceived and real, from around the airwaves and the league."

I don't know if that sort of stuff has any effect on a team, but if nothing else, it helps the media.

I honestly don't see the problem with his comments - all of them are true! It's not like he said the Bucs are gonna kick their a**.........

What did he say that was trash talking. He stated the obvious. The team is hurting with a bad QB. I would want to face them too.

Yeah, I heard what he said on NFL Network. It was an honest evaluation of the Giants, and he's 100% right, especially what he said about Eli having talent behind him but being inconsistant. What, is it getting to the point where a guy from one team can't even break down his opponents in a respectful, analytical way?

I don't think bulletin material matters for playoff games. Regular season? Sure. But I have to think that every player is playing their butt off in the playoffs, without any extra motivation.

It makes a diff if he was trash talking or just analyzing the other team. If he was trash talking, then he is stupid like his brother. Trash talking just fires up the other team and sometimes the trasher ends up with egg on his face.
