| Bucs negotiating with CB Woodson Apparently, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are pretty keen on former Raiders CB Charles Woodson. They're among one of the many teams who have spent most of the month of April trying to land the highly coveted corner.
According to the April 8 edition of the Tampa Tribune: "Tampa Bay remains in negotiations for free agent Charles Woodson, a four-time Pro Bowl cornerback for the Raiders who played for Bucs coach Jon Gruden and General Manager Bruce Allen."
Then just over a week later, the Boston Globe reported the following: "Woodson's best offer is from Green Bay, though Tampa Bay has also made an offer, perhaps looking at him as a free safety. But the feeling among industry sources is that if Woodson chooses the Bucs, they will deal one of their corners to free Woodson to play his natural position."
Would Woodson be a good fit with the Bucs defense? |
