Bucs' Moore to Go to Pro Bowl

Dave Moore of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been named to the Pro Bowl as a "need" player.

Moore was selected for the team by the coaching staff of the New Orleans Saints, who will coach the NFC squad. He will serve as the NFC's long snapper in the annual all-star game Feb. 10 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

"Dave's veteran presence in the huddle and locker room has been invaluable for us. It is a great honor that not only speaks to the season he had, but also to his long and productive career. We are very excited for him," Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden said.

Glad he made it but susprised hed did.

Dave Moore is a great guy. I'm so glad he was named to the pro bowl. He has been my favorite player for a long time. I was disappointed when he went to Buffalo the year the Bucs won the Super Bowl. I would really loved to see him get a ring. He is still a good player as well. He runs tight routes and has good hands. On top of that, he's a good blocking tight end. I am greatful to have met him. In case this is his last year...thanks for all the years and good luck in the future.
