Bucs re-sign Chris Simms

Buccaneers QB Chris Simms has signed a new two-year contract with Tampa Bay. Once thought to be on his way out thanks to the early success of rookie Bruce Gradkowski, it now appears that Simms will have at least a shot to come back at the Bucs starting quartering in 2007. This a good move by the folks in the Tampa Bay front office?

Re: Bucs re-sign Chris Simms

A nice move after Simms went through such a serious injury. I didn't think they would since Gruden didn't want him in the first place I thought.

Cool Re: Bucs re-sign Chris Simms

Outstanding move. Gradkowski is not the answer. If the Bucs let him walk, I was going to hope the Jets signed him.

Re: Bucs re-sign Chris Simms

Will Simms be able to play with that injury though? Wasn't it career threatening?
