The Bucs quarterback battle may be over. Bryon Leftwich outplayed Luke McCown in a game that gave both players equal time with the first team.
Leftwich was 9 out of 17 for 100 yards. He overthrew a couple of receivers in the rain but was solid on third downs.
McCown was 5 out of 11 for 38 yards. He was sacked twice and produced no points for the secondtime in 3 games.
Perhaps the gap is wide enough now for Coach Morris to make a decision.
