Syracuse SHOCKS Louisville

As discussed in the LIVE discussion thread, Syracuse shocked the nation when they defeated Louisville, 38-35.

The Orange defense came to play (well, until the 4th when they allowed the Cards to get back in the game) and disrupted Brian Brohm and his receivers. Cardinals back Allen only had 63 yards on the ground.

Taj Smith had two big receptions and run after's for TDs. Robinson had four TDs and 425 yards of offense.

All the talk about how bad a coach Robinson is...could this be a win that saves his job no matter what happens this year in Syracuse?

depends, i just think right now any offfense can beat lousvilles def. Plus you gotta assume from time to time, that brohm is going to have a bad quarter you cant rely on your offense all the time. If this is syracuse only win this year he will get fired cause prior to this week i thought the cuse were as good as temple. But will see, id like syracuse to be good cause it helps the big east but who knows.

Re: Syracuse SHOCKS Louisville

The sad part is, this really should've been worse. There were two key fumbles, at least one of which should've been points for Syracuse. Unbelievable upset, any way you look at it. If the Orange can run up 38 on this defense, what are the Mountaineers going to do to them? That's a scary thought.
