Syracuse vs. Louisville Cardinals Football

What's the difference between Syracuse and Notre Dame? Lots of things, but their 2007 records are not one of them (zing!). The 0-3 Orange head to Louisville to play the 2-1 Cardinals. Louisville is coming off a loss versus Kentucky. They will be home with a crowd that wants blood.

I don't see it in any way shape or form how Syracuse even keeps this game close.

On the road, with a lame duck head coach, against an angry Louisville club....Syracuse may not win a single game.

They sure won't win this one. Louisville's going to be ticked off and I wouldn't be shocked to see them put 63 points or more on the board vs. 'Cuse.

Just for the sake of argument...if Cuse were to pull the upset, would this be on par as App. State?

It'd be darn close, maybe not to the casual fan who's used to the Orange being at least decent, but to people who've really been following them, yeah, it'd be a huge upset.

Syracuse using nice clock management 11:29 left in the game. First down after a gain of 16 by Syracuse down to the Cars' 20.

Louisville fans are starting to leave Papa Johns Stadium.

What a performance by Syracuse in this game. Their defense has been damn good. Louisville just hasn't been able to piece together drives.

Re: Syracuse vs. Louisville Cardinals Football

Their first win over a ranked team since 2004. Unbelievable. A sign that the Orange are improving, or is the Louisville D that bad?

Re: Syracuse vs. Louisville Cardinals Football

Syracuse defense (at least for three quarters) played pretty well. They were making plays and stops galore. Plus the Orange offense made some nice plays as well.

Whether they can build on the big win, we'll see.
