Not that I am the one who makes the final decision but I can tell you that this subject has been brought forth before and has always been soundly rejected. In our rules it states that we are a sports forum and it has always been felt that we will remain that way. There are plenty of forums where you can discuss any issues you desire. We are a sports forum and will remain as such. As Bette noted we do have one thread where off topic conversation happens but it isn't something we are proponents of and until we are informed by the site owner, I suspect we'll just happily roll along the way we are now.

When we get are collective arms around the sports forum and a steady working number of mods, we can go there...
