| Re: 9/11 I remember exactly what I was doing. I was at work, working on a product no one liked to help me with. I simply couldnt understand. The first one I thought "Dumb pilot" The second one I knew it wasnt pilot error. One of the most devastating, horrendous days in my life.

| Re: 9/11 I was working at the time from my home office, TV off, when I got a call from my mother. She was at her job at the time and heard some customers talking about a plane crashing into the World Trade Centers, so I quick turned on the Today Show to get all the details. The most surreal experience of my life. I can't even say horror was the first thing I felt. It was more like a stunned, confused, "did that really just happen?" kind of feeling.

| Re: 9/11 I was getting ready for school at the time the first plane hit, on my way to school when the second plane hit. Had one class and then heard the Pentagon was hit. A short time thereafter, the school was evacuated (not exactly sure, but heard that the city schools were evacuated). Can still recall the smoke even in Brooklyn was heavy. Papers/office supplies from the towers falling in the streets. Only six years, seems like yesterday. |

| Re: 9/11 I was sleeping, as I work second shift. But the phone rang, and I saw it was my parents. Before calling them back, I turned on the TV, and got something to drink. The first plane had hit, and the first thing I remember vividly is the second plane hitting the tower. At that point I returned my parents call, and spent up until about noon riveted to the TV. We all went to work that day, but stayed glued to the radio, and I didn't turn off the news for about a week. It is still shocking. |

| Re: 9/11 I was getting dressed and ready for work. I was in the spare room of my house getting ready. My wife was sleeping and I didn't want to disturb her since my work schedule started much earlier than hers did so I kept my work clothes in a spare room... It was a bright morning here on the West Coast... another wonderful day in paradise I thought, and I was preparing myself for the usual morning commute in the San Francisco Bay Area by tuning into the early news shows to see where the usual traffic congestion was... I saw the images on the TV. Initially, I thought it was a movie - you know, a Hollywood production of death and destruction that we have grown so accustomed to seeing - so I changed channels but the same images kept appearing! I started to question my awareness - was I really awake or still asleep and just dreaming of a Hollywood movie? I went and woke up my wife and told her of the issue I was having with the images I kept seeing on TV. She awoke, turned on the TV and started watching... I realized after about two minutes that no, this was no dream. I wish it was...

| I was in 2nd grade. The principal announced, "All teachers turn your t.v.'s on." (They had them on the walls). We were watching CNN or something... And then it was a live broadcast from NYC. We saw the plane going into the tower and the journalists on t.v. going Whoa! and things like that. The camera zoomed in and then we heard someone on the television saying to this officer guy: I'm trapped I can't get out. And then we all were gasping when the towers just collapsed. Wow. This year in 8th grade we paid our respects to the people who died in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

| Re: 9/11 I was walking out getting ready to go to work. This is when I lived in Greenwich and I heard it and at first it didn't hit me and then my wife had a look of horror on her face so we watched the TV coverage together and the footage really hit hit me like a Tyson uppercut. The worst attack in American history. Even worse than Pearl Harbor IMHO.

| Re: 9/11 Am I the only 13-year-old here? Everyone keeps saying they were going to work... But allowing terrorists to come into the country! INTO THE COUNTRY! Wow. That was the worst attack in American history. I was depressed for a couple of days and I was only 7. |
