Online League

I didn't know where to post this, but I'm starting an online league.

Basically, based on team value, your team gets an income. You can take a team in whatever sports you want (NHL, MLB (if there's a computer version of the game), NFL, NBA, and MLS), and you get the PC version of the game. You can spend money on your team based on how much your team makes. But, say you need extra cash for one team, you can transfer money from another.

You also have the option of dealing with your own prospects, and you play your own games online with the video game. You just need to buy the PC versions of the games for the sports you're playing.

Please tell me who you are, your email, and your top ten team choices. First come first serve.

I'm reserving two spots in each sport for a couple of friends, who haven't chosen teams, they can have what's left over I guess, and my brother is taking the Flames, Heat, Cardinals, and Seahawks. I'm taking the Maple Leafs, Yankees, Cowboys, and Lakers. I'll save an MLS team for myself too.

So in August/September, if you get a spot confirmed, you'll need if you're taking an NHL team, NHL 08, an NBA team NBA Live 08, an NFL team, NFL Madden 08, and you can worry about the games for MLB and MLS next season, with the seasons already started, I'll wait until next year for them.

That sounds fun. But what about 2k's version of Madden next season?

Re: Online League

There's no computer version, and if we do it on PS2/3 or X-Box (360), then that's more **** people need, the game, the system, and the online adapter. Everyone here has the internet, all they need is the game.

A friend of mine wants to reserve the Raptors, Red Sox, Flyers, and Saints.

Oh, alright.

I would recommend that all users in this league purchase an extendable hard-drive.

Re: Online League

I'll take the Los Angeles Dodgers or the Florida Marlins, depending on whether or not trades are permitted.

I'll take the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA, and the New York Jets or the St. Louis Rams in the NFL.

Re: Online League

1) I already took the Lakers.

2) Trades are definitely permitted.

3) No NHL team?

I know it's early (you can't make a trade officially until the game comes out), but I'd be interested in acquiring Brian Urlacher from the Bulls, Alfonso Soriano from the Cubs, and Drew Stafford from the Sabres.

I would take the New York Islanders, but ThePundit will probably want them more. I will take the Colorado Avalanche instead.

As for the Lakers, I will need some more time to decide a secondary resort.

Re: Online League

I'd definitely be willing to part with Damon, I have some issue with trading Hughes.

Re: Online League

By the way, I meant Urlacher for the Bears, not Bulls.

Hughes will be the future of your organization, if you play your cards right.
