I'm thinking about adding a photo gallery option to the forum.

Each of you would be able to upload pictures of your favorite team, driver, athlete, tailgating, racetrack, stadium... whatever you want to show off to the rest of us.

Keeping in mind our PG rating, of course

It would cost me some money to get it going so I'm not promising anything, just asking if you'd use it to show off some of your own pictures that you've taken at whatever sporting event.

Any feedback appreciated.

Personally, I would not use this feature. I am not really into uploading photos since I don't take that many to start off with. It sounds like a nice idea for other members but I wouldn't use it.

However, I would consider making your son in the Peyton Manning jersey our new logo!

Personally, I don't have a lot of pictures to share so I'd say I would barley use the feature.

Maybe a photo gallery might be a good idea. It'll give a place for members to do their photos instead of doing them in the threads. If they want people to see the pics, they can reference the gallery instead of putting up a big pic in the thread. Also, with others quoting some with the pics in the link, it gets kinda tiresome seeing the same pic five times in a row when it is quoted.

One of the reasons I'm interesting in doing is that I could tie in members pictures with the ads at the top of the page. As some of you know, I'm testing out different ways to make money here. I *think* I'd be able to auto pull up pics that are related to the team/forum/thread as opposed to the temporary deal where we just have the same plain images on every single page.

There's no way I could come up with several pics for each & every team/sport by myself. If we did the gallery, we'd more likely be able to have related pics for each forum.

Still not sure if/when I'd do this but I do appreciate the input.

If you want, I can find all the pictures regarding every one of the MLB teams. I'm good with that kind of stuff since I took photography in High School and I can pinpoint a well-taken picture instead of some sloppy quick-shot.

I'd go for it - GDK, you use pictures all the time and it's funny, and informative. Adds punch. I think it'd be great.

I'd use it, also this may be far fetched but what about personalizing user homepages with background wallpaper, of course being pg content, I think it'd be cool to have the titans stadium background or maybe a braves for example, though I dont know how that would generate money, just thought I'd put that out there...
