| Stanley Cup Finals - Game 7 This is it. They're just finished with the National Anthems, and now its time to drop the puck and watch Game 7 of the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals between the Edmonton Oilers and the Carolina Hurricanes. | Re: Stanley Cup Finals - Game 7 thanks for making me re-live THAT game all over again. well. it was close when the oilers finally scored the goal. But it was carolina's game, and conn smythe winner Cam Ward's most of all. Disappointing, but like it says in all the papers, this has been an exciting playoff, and a pretty decent season, even though the Leafs failed me. best about the playoffs is meeting players you might not otherwise have met. briere is one of my most favourite players now, ryan miller, too - and I want to watch cam ward and see how next season goes. horcoff, pisani, torres, stoll. Still a big ryan smyth fan. brind'amour's a class act. The season is done, and it feels lonely. |

| Re: Stanley Cup Finals - Game 7 This was a great playoffs for the NHL (safe for the Rangers collapse) after an awful lock-out. A great seven game Stanley Cup Series and I'm awaiting next year already. Hopefully they can keep up the momentum with the sport. |

It was such a great cup final, yet how many people had to miss the first couple of games because they didn't get OLN? It's crazy to bury a sport's championship on a network that only reaches roughly half a million homes. But then, I guess that's off topic... great, exciting 2006 Stanley Cup playoffs. Hockey definitely scored big in the damage control department with this one! |

| Re: Stanley Cup Finals - Game 7 we kind of have the same situation up here - LeafsTV is only available on digital and you have to pay extra for that so if you don't get it, you miss about i don't know 24 or so games a year that they have just recently been given the right to broadcast over the networks. I think that sucks. |
