Game Six Predictions

This is the big big game. If Carolina loses this one, pretty much all the momentum that they gained will be gone. In fact if they lose this one, they have a lesser chance of winning game seven. Ward and Weight are hurt. Stillman is probably really down on himself for that choke. The Oilers are flying high with confidence. They are playing at the whatsthenameofit arena. I would say that the scales right now are slightly tipped toward the Oilers. I'm still going with the 'Canes though. They seem to actually play better on the road. Maybe its the white uniforms.

Hey what are injuries anyway right... ...happens to the best of teams...actually it has happened to all the teams in the playoffs now that I think of it...infact we have had multiple threads on this.

Re: Game Six Predictions

Okay, just so you don't look uninformed Pete b it's called the Rexall centre.
I'll go with Edmonton, because I think it helps to be at the Rexall. mind you, they lost there before, but this is a different game. Plus Weight's gone, and I hate to say it, but it's a good thing. For the Oilers, that is - they LOVe that he's gone. You know hockey fans - they never forget.
Part of me thinks, who the heck knows? But momentum wise, Edmonton's got the advantage plus the crowd.

Re: Game Six Predictions

Game is currently going on right now, with Edmonton up 2-0 midway through the second and continuing to put pressure on Carolina. Boy do the Oilers look sharp... the Canes have to do something quickly, because it looks like they've completely lost control of this series.

blueandwhite...thanks for the Rexall Centre Info. I was kind of being sarcastic because the name of the place is in huge letters in the middle of the ice. Anyway, congrats on the game tonite. I am really looking forward to game seven. Its almost as if there was no way that Edmonton was going to let this one end early and that the 'Canes just had to get these two losses out of their system. You guys looked big and focused. WTG!
