Penguins pull it off in 3rdOT

ok did anyone stay up to watch? i have to admit when Detroit made it 3-2 in the 3rd of regular time, that's when I thought - damn, they've got it.
Hossa is having such a great series. What a gorgeous goal he had last night. He was a great buy for Pittsburgh.
I just watched highlights of the OT and the chances detroit had - it's criminal that they didn't win that game last night but posts and an amazing Fleury took it away from them.
Gonchar hit the boards and played minimally after that, which is worrisome.
And lovely Ryan malone had just got his regular face back - then Gill smacked it with another puck (a shot on the Red Wing net that malone got in the way of) and he looks awful and wow did he bleed - he's already broken his nose once this series - has it happened again?
There is a shot of Roberts talking the guys up - he is a huge leader and I know he does this, yelling down the bench, keeping moral high - well in this shot he's talking to Talbot - and who got the game tying goal that brought it all to OT and Sykora's lovely goal?
Talbot.

That's the value of a guy like Gary Roberts. He can be like a coach in skates.
Anyway, phenomenal game. I must admit, no, I didn't stay up to watch the end of it. And yes, I thought the Pens were done. Glad I was wrong!

I stayed up. Sykora called the winning goal in the 2nd OT, amazing. Malkin finally got a point in this series. About time.

Yeah, Neo deserves some kind of "Ironman" award. No other Pens fan I've talked to made it all the way till the end.

Wimps! It was (possibly) the last game of the season! Fluery is certainly out playing Osgood.

I feel so ashamed. But hey, I'm getting old. I need my sleep.

Yeah, yeah... it's sooooo wonderful that West Coasters can see DETROIT play PITTSBURGH for the Cup. <grumble, grumble>
