Lil' Jon stole the Stanley Cup.

I'm just kidding. The Stanley Cup was going around town and it just so happens that Lil' Jon came to check out the old thing. A few celebs looked at it too: Lindsey Lohan, Ryan Seacrest, Ice T., David Spade and many more.

Did you guys ever touch old Stanley?

Such a sacred trophy should not be touched by Lindsey Lohan or Ryan Seacrest...though in the old days it was once dropped kicked into a river...

Really? Was the kicker arrested on the spot for endangering the life of good old Stanley? That is just cruel to do to someone of his age. I could see a brand new one so that the kicker could test the density of the trophy in ratio to the water.

Has the Stanley Cup ever been lost? It would be pretty funny considering that it is so large and spectacular.

A member of the 1905 Ottawa Silver Seven tried to see if he could drop kick the Cup across the Rideau Canal. The attempt failed, and the Cup was not retrieved until the next day; luckily the river was still frozen over.

Here are a few more misadventures for of the famed Cup:

Weeks after members of the 1906 Montreal Wanderers left it at a photographer's studio, officials learned that the photographer's mother was using the Cup to plant geraniums.

In 1907, a Kenora Thistles team manager threatened to throw the Cup into Lake of the Woods in a dispute over the eligibility of two Thistles players.

Members of the 1924 Canadiens, en route to celebrate their win at owner Leo Dandurand's home, left it by a roadside after repairing a flat tire. The Cup was recovered exactly where they left it.

Don't know about the Stanley Cup, but Mike Vanderjagt once lost the CFL Grey Cup at a bar. Was he drunk? You bet your arse he was! Funny story... the kid who swiped it returned it the next day. He just wanted some photos with it and to keep it overnight. But how do you get drunk and LOSE your sport's championship trophy? I'll never figure that one out...
