how the east looks

so the conference is led now by:
Pittsburgh and the habs, both with 87 points.
so next is Carolina, which is a by for them seeing as how they lead the worst division and ony have 81 points - still, they count - last 10 games for them are the best record - 8-1-1.
next up - 86 -Jersey
Sens - 85
rangers - 83. Their last 10 games? pretty good too, with 8-0-2.
Now Boston sits at 7th with 80
Philly at 8th with 79.
The contest after that has:
Buffalo at 9th with 75 - last 10? 2-5-3
Washington, Florida and Toronto all at 74 points and sit from 10th-12th.
71 points for NYI - they have the worst last ten game record - 2-8-0
68 points for Atlanta
TB has 72.
games played vary from 70-72
will buffalo keep spiralling downward? will Toronto win all but one? (because they have to to make it).
here's to the last 10- 12 games of the season.
next up - how the west looks.

Re: how the east looks

Yeah, my Pens are in good shape. I'm shocked at Buffalo... not really sure what the problem is there. And definitely an uphill battle for your Leafs, blue. So what's the schedule for Toronto the rest of the way? Who do they need to beat to get in?

Re: how the east looks

honestly, I think they can only lose one game for it to even be possible. Plus it gets complicated, when you have to have other teams lose as well.
we play in order:
sabres islanders sabres sens bruins bruins habs sabres sens habs.
I'm scared of the canadiens for sure. our record over them this year hasn't been bad, though - 3 wins and 3 losses to them but two of those losses were in OT.
are the sabres going to pick it up? - they seem mired in muck.
it looks possible on paper.
we need mats.

Wow, that stinks. You sure don't have any easy games in there. If they make it, they will sure have earned it!

of course now that I've said that, it'll be a slaughter, there will be leafs guts all over the rink and the final will be 17 to 0.

I sure hope not! I don't like any teams from NYC! No Rangers or Isles! And the Devils are close enough for me to not like them either!

Re: how the east looks

i never watched hockey before. never found it that exciting. and prolly cuz i'm black. but i watched it the other night (just cuz it was in HD) and it wasnt bad. it was pittsburgh at washington and from the way the announcers kiss ass, alexander ovechkin and sydney crosby must be to badasses. i might start watchin it all the time. those boys were pile drivin each other into the glass

Re: how the east looks

Glad you enjoyed the game! See, you gave it a chance, and had some fun with it.

And yes, Crosby and Ovechkin are a couple of the games scoring stars! Ovechkin has a great chance to make 60 goals, which hasn't been done in quite some time!

Re: how the east looks

yea tomorrow afternoon its philly and pittsburgh. i only seen one whole game but i kinda like the personality of pitt. they seem like a finesse team then turn around and show that they can be roughnecks too. i'll prolly flip back and forth between hornets at pistons and philly at pittsburgh

Oh no. Look what you guys did, you made a Pens fan.

Listen Geechee, theres only one hockey team you need to pay attention to and that's my DETROIT RED WINGS.

On topic however, I predict Washington will be in the playoffs by the end of the week.
