| Stanley Cup Finals - Anaheim Ducks vs. Ottawa Senators The 2007 Stanley Cup Finals will pit the Ottawa Senators against the Anaheim Ducks. Both teams are looking for their first ever NHL championship, and the series will start Monday night. The Ducks will have home ice advantage, according to the NHL. Who do you like to win it all this season, Ottawa or Anaheim?

| Re: Stanley Cup Finals - Anaheim Ducks vs. Ottawa Senators Five reasons/questions why I'm digging the Senators: Does ice exist naturally in Anaheim, other than during the Ice Age? Wasn't there an Emilio Estevez movie about the ducks? Are the ducks owned by Disney? Andy McDonald Duck?! Does the city of Anaheim even get the games on Versus? What is the Spanish word for Hockey? |

| Stanley Cup Finals Capsule Ducks making second appearance in finals in four seasons. A team from the West Coast hasn't won the Stanley Cup since Victoria of the Western Canada Hockey League captured it against Montreal in 1925 - two years before NHL clubs exclusively began playing for it... Daniel Alfredsson has scored a playoff-leading 10 goals in 15 playoff games, including four on Ottawa's power play that has connected 14 times in 70 opportunities. The Senators captain has played in all 94 postseason contests in franchise history and has netted the winning goal in four of the club's 12 playoff wins this year. The native of Sweden is the first European captain to reach the Stanley Cup finals... The city of Ottawa is seeking its first Cup title since the original Senators franchise won in 1927. | Re: Stanley Cup Finals - Anaheim Ducks vs. Ottawa Senators this is on nhl.com: Chris Chelios admitted recently the reason he didn't shake hands with the Ducks following Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals was because he didn't feel he could control his emotions out there. He said he meant no disrespect by it and that if he could go back in time, he would shake their hands. Perhaps Chelios' real reason for not shaking hands is because those guys have some monstrous mitts. Perhaps he likes his right arm right where it is - still attached to his body. Staff writers there are saying Ducks are big and scary - that's been my thought all along, that Ottawa is fast and sharp but the ducks have something over them - they are big guys, plus skilled. But this also shows Chelios for who i think he is, and why i don't like him much - what a maroon. who cares if you couldn't control your emotions? Grow up and shake hands, you big jerk. Be the Big Man. It's the way things are done. |
