If the Penguins win their next three and the devils lose their next four the Pens will take that division, it sounds like a long shot but the ctach 22 is that 2 of those 4 games are against the pens......but honestly, I don't see any team in the east the Penguins couldn't beat in the playoffs with the exception of tampa bay.....

Out west its a crap shoot, the top 8 are very competitive, the ninth place team (colorado) is 9 points out. But if I had to venture a guess i'll have to take the canucks, especially if luongo gets hot, remeber a first time playoff trip can mess with a goalie's mind.....that being said, then Pens might have their own worries in that department seeing as how more than half the team have only watched the playoffs on TV and weren;t even in the league the last time the pens won a cup.

talk about tight! even the race for 1st in the east is tight with no help from the sabres. anyway here r my best teams in the playoffs: buffalo, minnesota, pittsburgh, nashville, and detroit. i rly think each of these teams has got what it takes 2 make it 2 the cup because of their solid offense and goaltending. yea i no buffalo has just lost 3 games in a row but hopefully its just a small divet in the road that wont slow them down from how theyve ben doing all year. as for teams that wont go far, carolina - i just hate them cuz they beat the sabres but what have they done this year? - and montreal, who has ben on a miserable stretch of games recently that doesnt seem to end. im rly surprised that edmonton and possibly colorado wont b in the playoffs either - both excellent tteams that have worked their way to the cup many times. well we'll just have to see how the playoffs rly play out and i cant wait

o yea thanks 4 pointing that out...well of course new jersey is going to make their mark in the playoffs with a solid goaltender in brodeur, a great offense and a phenomenal defense. (but even so the sabres will go all the way this year!)

u no that every1 is gonna b scared to play buffalo in the playoffs, and with good reason - they have so many start players and underrated ones that are going to shine in the playoffs. and, AND, buffalo will have all their injured players back - and that includes afingoenov and possibly connolly (so to every other team in the league, say your prayers, and good luck, cuz u all need it! )

WHOOA dude u got it ALL WRONG
#1: new jersey is not going to be in the stanley cup finals - they arent half as good a team as buffalo is and even tho theyve done pretty good against us this season it was in most of those games that we had some injured players. so new jersey wont get in or, at least, they shouldnt
#2: i no u might like the ducks a lot, but im still going 4 sabres - if they dont win, its going to be a disappointment to all the NHL

its good to know im not the only one who HATES nashville, but the farthest they will go would be the stanley cup finals and then thats it
on the other hand, if pittsburgh is going to win the stanley cup, theyre going to have to get through new jersey and, much more importantly, the sabres. now, dont get me wrong, the penguins are a real good team with a great run as of late. but a good team cant win with just star players like crosby malkin and staal. other than them, who else is good for pittsburgh? buffalos got depth, and thats how theyre getting so far this year. so judt keep that in consideration, and i dont mean to sound cocky but thats how i feel. if u feel otherwise, tho, u can tell me, but im never abandoning my buffalo sabres
