Ugly, ugly loss for the Rams. The St. Louis defense gave up an average of 7.2 yards per carry to the Houston running game. The first-team offense could only manage a field goal in three first-quarter posessions. Torry Holt bruised his sternum. Steven Jackson had four carries for 10 yards. The Rams were penalized 13 times for 104 yards. The reserve somehow made it a close game, 27-20, but score aside, were there any positives at all for St. Louis in this one?
