TheSportsGuru 2006 NFL Preview - St. Louis Rams Projected Record 5-11, 2nd Place NFC West Projected Schedule W/L Denver (L) @San Francisco(L) @Arizona (L) Detroit (W) @Green Bay (L) Seattle (L) @San Diego (L) Kansas City (W) @Seattle (L) @Carolina (L) San Francisco(W) Arizona (W) Chicago (W) @Oakland (L) Washington (L) @Minnesota (L) Another NFL team starting anew is the St. Louis Rams who said good-bye to self-proclaimed genious Mike martz in the off-season. There was alot of talk that the Rams would settle on a defensive caoch but instead tabbed Scott Linehan, and offensive guy, to try and turn around a team that seemed to get old in a hurry. In my mind that might be a tall task. The Rams are an offensively focused team, and age is beginning to become a factor. To read the rest of this preview, check out TheSportsGuru.com

Re: TheSportsGuru 2006 NFL Preview - St. Louis Rams Ouch, a tough season you've projected. I haven't followed the Rams but it seems their offense should still be pretty productive. If the defense can be at least average to good, they should be able to win close to 8 games in one of the weakest divisions in the game.

Re: TheSportsGuru 2006 NFL Preview - St. Louis Rams You are right. They do play in the weakest division in football. Seattle will get them twice, but the other teams are ripe for the picking. The Rams do have some talent on offense, but there are alot of 'ifs'. If Bulger can stay healthy, if Stephen Jackson can be the man, if the defense gets tougher against the pass, if they can replace Adam Archuleta, if they buy into Scot Linehan's system... I can go on....I think we'll see exactly what type of team they are week 1 against Denver....
