Rams Release 7-time Pro Bowl WR Holt

The St. Louis Rams released wide receiver Torry Holt on Friday, parting ways with one of the last remaining holdovers from their "Greatest Show on Turf" glory days.
The move came three days after the Rams released offensive tackle Orlando Pace, another mainstay from the era when the Rams won their only Super Bowl and lost another on the game's final play. Both Holt and Pace are seven-time Pro Bowl selections.
Holt is 32 and Pace is 33 and combined the moves created $14 million in salary cap space. Holt was due a $1.25 million roster bonus on Tuesday.

I hope the Titans look at him..

And if the Bears don't pick him up I will be incredibly ☻☻☻☻ed, he is the perfect fit for them a solid reciever who we can be a leader on the offense, they need to sign him or trade for Boldin, Orton is good but he needs recievers

I would want him playing for the Bears too, but it's not going to work effectively without a Good QB.

Orton is not the QB that will make a dramatic difference.
yeah you could say, orton made a few good pass here and there.
but thats all he is, A OK QB.

Orton was good the first half of the year, then he got bad after he came back from the ankle injury way too fast, if Orton says healthy he is a solid QB, but he still can't throw the deep ball, but he's accurate and make any throw within 20-25 yards, you give him some talent and he will work out for the Bears

Yes he could be a solid QB for the Bears, but the bears can't go far with him if he can't throw deep passes.
Look at the Giants after Burress got in trouble, Eli was limited to short and medium range pass and that hurt them in the playoffs.
Torry Holt is a good receiver at his age still, but without a accurate QB that can throw deep ball, the Bears wouldn't have a good Game.

I see where your coming from but I disagree, Eli couldn't throw the deep ball because he can't throw into the wind and because Dominick Hixon can't catch. But Torry Holt can barely go deep any more at his age, I really want the Bears to pick him up, I think it would really work out
