Rams owner Chip Rosenbloom says the team has hired a firm that specializes in sports development but not for the reason that was reported.
They hired them not to seek prospective buyers but rather hired Moaz and Co. to field the many calls swamping the team office. They are simply returning people's phone calls.
Since his mother's death in January (Georgia Frontiere) Rosenbloom has declared his intention to keep the Rams in St. Louis but has never dismissed the possibility of a sale.
Rosenbloom and his sister, Lucia Rodriguez, may be more inclined to sell if hit with a hefty estate tax bill.
