The St. Louis Rams have released WR Isaac Bruce after the two sided were unable to agree on a restructured contract.

Bruce, 35, was due a $2 million roster bonus today. He is #3 on the NFL's career yardage list with 14,070. Where does he wind up playing in 2008?

I still do not understand the value of a contract that you can be released from...I mean the roster bonus could have said $10 million...made it look like a great contract and have not been worth a hill of beans...why bother calling it a contract?

I knew they wanted to go younger at receiver, at least have one in the wings, but its a mistake letting him go just yet.
Of course, he is 35. They are trying to make cap space.
This is the 2nd time in 3 years they released him.
