| Re: Rams sign TE Jon Williams New St. Louis coach Scott Linehan wants to expand the tight end's role in the Rams offense, but he'll have to do it with three rookies -- Williams, a free agent, and draftees Joe Klopfenstein of Colorado and Dominique Byrd of USC. This kid Williams caught 140 passes for 1,530 yards at the University of New Hampshire and earned All-Conference honors, but with the other two, I kind of doubt 6-3, 247-pounder has much of a shot of making the team, even with the trade of Brandon Manumaleuna to San Diego, right? |
