Warner is 36 and he has NEVER had a FULL bad season, it's disgusting how the Rams and Giants treated him.

Woah there, the Giants did nothing wrong with Warner. He was brought in to handle the ship until they wanted to play Eli. Period.

Had the Giants stuck with Warner they would have made the post season for sure, I mean two, count em, TWO 8-8 teams made it in that year, Eli has been a so-so QB in his two full seasons, his team, not him got that 11-5 record and he couldn't do anything with it and last year the NFC was crap and this year.....well....you know.

Eli Manning was going to play that season. It was just a matter of when. Warner knew it, the fans knew it, etc. Eli has developed into one of the better QBs in the league if you ask me. He's consistently had some of the biggest TD numbers at the position.

As for Warner, right now, if he gives the Cards the best chance to win...I'm sure he'll be out there. However Leinart can't be benched for the whole season, can he?

I may not recall 100% but weren't people calling for Martz's head his final year or two in St. Louis for not getting the Rams farther in the playoffs.

His final year in St. Louis he only coached in 5 games, winning 2 and losing 2 by 6 points or less, he also lost one in a blowout but that was it, he took the rest of the year off because he had a bacterial infection in his heart and he wasn't physically cleared to coach, cept their last game which he wasn't allowed to coach as he was fired.

The previous year he took his 8-8 team past the Seahawks in the Wild Card round.

I really never heard too many Rams fans complaining about his coaching, at least not on the forum on the official team site.

Well I bet Charles Armey thought he was pretty smart after 03, but now he must KNOW he's a complete idiot.

I think back to the Warner years, the only time Rams were consistantly winning I mean seriously the Super Bowl the Rams reached in 79 they were 9-7 and made back to back upsets to reach that SUper Bowl.

Under Martz ( and in 99 Vermiel ) the Rams got to 3 straight playoffs, uncluding 2 of 3 Super Bowls winning one, and in total 5 playoff berths in 6 years.

The way I see it, we got 2 years before a 10-6 season.
