Rams Trade Qb Fitzpatrick To Bengals
Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Rams have traded quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to the Bengals for a seventh-round pick in the 2008 draft.
The move means Brock Berlin will be the Rams' No. 3 quarterback this season, behind starter Marc Bulger and backup Gus Frerotte.
Fitzpatrick was the Rams' seventh-round pick out of Harvard in 2005. He started three games as a rookie and was said to be a favorite of former Rams coach Mike Martz.
