| The Human Joystick Has A New Home Sirius NFL Radio reports that the Chiefs have traded receiver/kick returner Dante Hall to the St. Louis Rams for a fifth-round pick in the 2007 draft. The Chiefs were shopping Hall, whose production has dropped a bit since he had one of the best seasons ever for a kick returner in 2003. The only knock on Hall is that he's never been able to fully develop as a receiver. At age 28, Hall still has several more years to make it happen. | Re: The Human Joystick Has A New Home Like I said in another post, K.C. was so desperate for draft picks they were shopping Hall and Larry Johnson. Now Hall's gone and for what? A 5th round pick? Ludicrous. Guys like Hall are who you hope to find in the draft. You don't trade them away when you've got them. He was a game-changer in special teams, and unless you're damn lucky, no one you find in the fifth round will be able to fill his shoes or contribute as much to the team. In short, stupid trade.
