I am sure that you have all heard that the St. Louis Cardinals signed outfielder, Preston Wilson.

Eckstein was examined at Wrigley Field. Eckstein suffered a strained oblique muscle when he slide into Michael Barrett in the third-inning.

It's a good move. Wilson is the type of player who may strike out often but he can be a nice bat.

He has a knack for hitting homeruns, as I experienced when he played at Shea with the Nationals last season. I don't understand why he is shipped all over the place like Reggie Sanders. I would like to see these decent players stay in one place for once and for all. It is too hard keeping track of where they are these days.
