| Re: Mulder earns 100th win I agree with the 250 being the new 300, but I don't think the 300s are over yet. Look at guys like Glavine, Maddux, Clemens, Johnson and Schilling. All having good seasons into their early 40s. Eventually there will be a consistent winner who will stay healthy majority of his career.
Mark Buehrle has a chance if the White Sox can stay competitive in the future. If he wins 15 this year, he'll be at 100 and he's 27. He's made 32+ starts each of the last 5 years.
I would think from time to time there will be a pitcher who stays away from the injury bug and last long enough to approach it. |
