The St. Louis Cardinals are looking for starting pitching help and a short stop this off-season. With David Eckstein hitting free-agency earlier this week, the team is looking to replace him (if they can't re-sign him).
Also, Scott Rolen is on the trade market reportedly.
According to
STL Today the Cardinals will have interest in Cesar Izturis when he becomes a free-agent later this week.
As far as starting pitchers go, the Cards have been linked with Carlos Silva and Kyle Lohse. Of course, so have a ton of other teams.
