Cardinals Exercise Option on Isringhausen
Cardinals interim GM John Mozeliak's first move was to ensure closer Jason Isringhausen would be back in 2008 according to MLB.com. Yesterday, he exercised the option for the closer for $8 million.

The move guarantees Isringahausen will be pitching for the Cardinals in 2008. It's the final year of his contract and may be his last in Cardinal red.
