Cardinals open new Busch Stadium with win

The St. Louis Cardinals opened the new Busch Stadium in a grand fashion tonight, beating the Milwaukee Brewers 6-4. Lefty Mark Mulder struck out five and spread seven hits across eight innings to earn the victory. Oh, and he also went 2-for-3 with a double and his first career home run. Scott Rolen had a two-run double and Albert Pujols added his fourth homer of the season. Nice way to open up your new ballpark, eh?

Pujols is a hitting-machine. Man, he's scary.... If I were any NL pitcher, I'd intentionally walk him every time he came up. I wonder why he doesn't get intentionally walked as many times as Bonds does?

Stronger lineup around him. That's be my guess.
