Pujols for MVP

Albert Pujols is the man, I hope the Cards win the series and he wins the MVP!

Pujols could have had a season for the ages if injuries and Ryan Howard had not reared its ugly head...as it is, he deserves a bit of luck in the World Series...

(side note: just trying to help you hit that 4-5 post limit there ccorces1 )

Why?...and maybe it makes him a better hitter...Ted Williams was a bit of an angry hitter...he would take batting practice and start muttering, "I am bleeping Ted Williams"...hit..."I am bleeping Ted Williams" ...hit...etc

Maybe anger drives him?

Re: Pujols for MVP

That is exactly the kind of motivation a batter needs to drive the balls over the outfield fences!

Have any of you seen that Arli$$ Michaels episode where his assistant, Stanley, quotes, "You are Arliss ----ing Michaels!"

Re: Pujols for MVP

I'd beg to differ....Ryan Howard will walk away with the MVP Award. He simply had a monster year and he was the talk of the game for a good two or so months.

I'd rather St. Louis lose because of how they beat the Mets...but perhaps it would mean more if the Cardinals won this year to only lose to the Mets in 07. This is what I have to think about now...

Pay no attention to Empire, he is a disgruntled Mets fan...Pujols got me a Fantasy League victory...thus he should be MVP over Ryan Howard...

Hey now...either way I'm pretty much po'd since either a Philly or a Cardinal will win the award.

Re: Pujols for MVP

If I were a sports writer I would vote for Ryan Howard of the Phillies...lets not forget Howards team was actually a better performing team than St Louis....better winning percentage this year in a weak NL

Re: Pujols for MVP

Well, it happened, the St.Louis Cadinals won the world series in a murder sweep becuase the Detroit Tigers were dead without thier preciouse Kenny Rogers on the mound..... Alberto Pujols has it made my fellow baseball fans.
