Will the Cardinals Lose the Division?

Amazingly, the Cardinals are in first place by just a couple of games. The Astros and Reds are close behind and those guys from Houston seem to be the hottest of the three teams. If the Cardinals blow the lead, it will the first time in decades that a team with a 7 or 8 game lead in the final 12 games of the season blows their playoff chances.

So can the Cardinals stop themselves from being the goats?

Re: Will the Cardinals Lose the Division?

If Pujols is on the team, they won't blow it. Remember your math, EmpireWF.

Albert Pujols=Wins.

Once you master that concept, I'll give you an A for the Semester.

The Astros are the team to watch here. They've won 7 in a row, though they are currently down to the Pirates, 6-1.

Did Jeff Bagwell officially retire this year?

Re: Will the Cardinals Lose the Division?

I think so Marc, if not voluntarily, forced out due to his chronic shoulder injury.

Re: Will the Cardinals Lose the Division?

I thought the Astros were mean to him during the off-season. Any comments about their decision?
