| St. Louis get Mason The goalie comes from Nashville in exchange for a 4th round pick today in the draft. Mason played in a career-high 51 games for the Predators last season, posting a 2.90 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage. I guess they are pleased enough with Ellis (as they should be) and having Pekka Rinne for a backup - Mason's a good get for St. Louis.

| Re: St. Louis get Mason they also picked up defenseman Alex pietrangelo in the draft - he's from the OHL Niagara team - looks like they are, as other teams seem to be, beefing up on Mason's defense. |
