| Blues vs. Red Wings Two shootout tries were decided by replay. Both calls went against the Detroit Red Wings... Doug Weight scored the only goal of the tiebreaker - a shot confirmed on a review - giving the St. Louis Blues a 3-2 win over the Red Wings on Saturday. | Re: Blues vs. Red Wings Sounds a bit to me like Hasek and the Wings got hosed. According to what the Detroit goalie says in this story, "The puck was somewhere under my pads. I looked at the referee and he was going, 'No goal.' At the same time, I sort of relaxed and the puck rolled over and into the net... If the ref didn't say anything, I'd say it was a goal. But he spread his hands and said it wasn't a goal." So if he calls it no goal, and THEN the puck crosses the line, how can replay reverse it? Isn't the play over?
