Hull's number retired by Blues

No. 16. Even though he left St. Louis in 98 and won his cups with Dallas and Detroit and now works as a suit for the Stars.
Because, with the Blues, he played 11 seasons, and holds the franchise record for most goals (527), game-winning goals (70), power play goals (195), hattricks (27) and shots on goal (3367).
Guess he deserves it.
In 20 seasons, Hill is 3rd on the NHL list with a total of 741 goals.

Yeah, I agree completely. Even though he played for the Stars and Wings, I'll always seem him as a member of the Blues. Good to see them honor him like this; he was definitely one of the best of this era. His slapshot was unreal.

Can't really think of a player I would identify with the franchise more than Hull...I remember when he was knocking in 70 and 80 goals...I remember taking the subway in New York and the Sports Papers keeping track of Hull's scoring for the Blues...the man will forever be a Blues.

My other hockey shirt? is a St. louis Blues shirt. Number 17. Inge hammarstrom. After him, i think of Hull.
