I have zero problem with females in NA__AR. They've been part of the sport since the very first race. (Sara Christian) Right now there are two in the ARCA pipeline who have potential. Ally Owens and Gabbi DeCarlo. I don't think Gabbi has that much of a future because she's going to graduate from college soon with a pretty good degree.
What bothers me is the circus the media turns the sport into whenever a female shows up with helmet in hand.
The media, in this example, reminds me of when some truckers are driving down the boulevard gabbing on the CB when a female trucker comes on and tries to intelligently enter into the conversation. As soon as the female voice is heard, 90% of the male talkers get an instant case of macho dumbass and start sounding like immature jerks. Any professional drivers out there will know exactly of which I speak.
I believe NA__AR needs a female who has come up through the local track stock car ranks, not a dramatic pseudo-diva from a completely different genre of racing.
