Inside Track: Refueling the Businesss of NASCAR

This looks interesting. It debuts on CNBC Thursday, July 9th at 9:00pm ET...

Inside Track: Refueling the Business of NASCAR, hosted by Emmy-Nominated CNBC Sports Business Reporter Darren Rovell, examines a sport that was once seemingly unstoppable. Infamous for its ties to southern bootleggers and famous for filling some of the largest venues in the world - 200,000 fans at some speedways – a decade of growth made it the fastest growing sport in America.

But the rise of the 90s has given way to a new century recession. An imploding car business and shrinking sponsorship budgets are threatening the corporate dollars that are the sport's very lifeblood. Owned and controlled by the France family, NASCAR is looking at ways to weather the storm.

Darren Rovell takes you inside the garage of driver turned owner Tony Stewart and a never before seen look at how NASCAR sponsors are looking for business – from each other. Inside Track takes the viewer under the hood for a look at the people behind the iconic American companies that have stuck with this sport that was born more than five decades ago.

Re: Inside Track: Refueling the Businesss of NASCAR

I clicked on the link, Robert, and got nothing but a bunch of video links. Nothing on the first one except some sort of promo for the pit crew thing they do in Charlotte.
I went to CNBC and the only thing recent there is the promo for the show they're doing on NA__AR on the 9th. I found a piece Larry Kudlow did on NA__AR awhile back but since I and Kudlow have such differing views on economics I just scanned the piece and didn't read it in depth.

I see what you mean, Bob. My comment about more info was misleading. Sorry 'bout that. If you click the "See The Slideshow" link, it goes through 16 pictures with text that describes what the show will be talking about.
