I don't care if it was rain shortened, I'm glad Reutimann got him one. Boy both times this weekend the usual drivers didn't win.

nascar should be embarrased to give this race to toyota. They could have waited a little longer and been able to run the entire race. reutimann didn't earn this win.

How didn't he earn the win. He didn't pit...He was out front. He did the smart thing and stayed out. So yeah he earned it IMO. Been running great this year and I can see him getting another win this year without the rain.

Give this race to Toyota? What does that mean? I don't get this comment... because it just makes no sense.

The race was won by David Reutimann and the Aaron's crew. If he was driving a Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Ferrari, Honda, Kia OR Toyota, the driver and crew of car #00 won the race! What does it matter what manufacturer was represented?

And to add... 13 other cars ahead of him decided to pit. Was that his doing? Ever hear of the saying "sometimes better lucky than good"? Reutimann's name gets engraved on the trophy, so say what you will, his win was earned - rules of the game.

How much longer where they suppose to wait? It was 6:30pm, the day after it was suppose to run, when they called it. I seen them wait longer to call this one than they have waited to call some other ones.
And why should they be embarrassed to give the win to Toyota? Its not like this was Toyota's 1st win.

He didn't earn this race! Nope! His pit crew earned it! They have the radar and are the ones that tell him whether to pit or not. And I don't agree...I DON"T see him winning another! This guy is good...but not good enough to contend for wins. I really don't see him making the chase when it comes. I didn't watch the race but heard he was in 24th place b4 that final pit stop! Obviously he wasn't running good enough to win the race or even a top 5, so he didn't EARN that race!

Like I said...the crews make the choice! Reutimann didn't do crap to get this win! Retimann had no idea what the radar looked like! Everyones pit crew has access to it...but Reutimanns was the only smart ones to keep him out along with Robby Gordon. Unless he is physic and knew the rain was coming and stayed out himself...He didn't do anything but listen to his crew!

it is now 9:34 pm ..the weather at harrisburg, nc says it is raining.....how long did u expect nascur to hold off their decision to call the race......all race long the tv guys said ''till we gety to the 1/2 way mark''..well,they got there and then during the last red flag , they all talked about the race resuming after the rain.....i believe nascur was not happy w/ potential results,and did not,as tv showed it pourin the anouncers maintaining a positive attitude for the race to start again,and waited to the 6:30 limit.....when t .v. says it's going to rain, the few fans who stayed now left,no body on tv is watching this anymore,and it is time for the simpsons..........brian france does not seem to have the magical powers over the weather his grandpop and his pop had..

I already said I would say the same thing no matter who it was for! If the pit crew makes the call...they deserve the credit! If I went to race a sprint cup race...started last then stayed out on the first caution and rain came...I wouldn't even give my self the credit!

Why dont you take it up with Nascar?..........because no matter what YOU think David Reutimans name is being engraved on the trophy. And it is the same Mr. David Reutiman who will be credited with the 2009 600 win.

Not really sure what your problem is with David, or....... are you in fact part of his pit crew who feels discredited after David gets the limelight........

Well, anyway ..the rest of you , it was nice to see MWR get its first win....and didnt they say this was toyota's first win outside of JGR.

Now I never said I wasn't a fan (thought I don't care much for him) nor did I say he didn't win that race! He did win it...well, he was in front when they crossed the finish line for the last time! His crew told him to stay out as their was rain coming. Can't deny that and I also don't see how you can deny the fact that he didn't deserve it! Like I said...he didn't have the best car all through the race and most likely wouldn't have been up front at the end. A win is a win but just stating my opinion. We all have our own opinions don't we? I am just sorry you don't agree with mine.

I get alittle fed up when races end how they did! Just seems like when it ends cuz of rain...it is always someone who didn't have a car worth even contending for a top 5. Just a matter of who pits on that final caution and who doesn't! IF David wins later on this year...then I will know he has what it takes!

FYI...wouldn't it be called the Coca Cola 342 instead?
