At this point in time we are trying to expand our fan base and we believe that you can help us and we can help you. Our newest goal is to try and incorporate local tracks across the country into our racing forum. We'd like to be able to post news specific to your track and your teams. Most importantly we are not looking for any money at all. Our goal is just to increase our membership numbers.

actually there's two things 1) a link at GTG to the track's website and a link at their website back to GTG - called a link exchange and 2) there can be a forum set up at GTG for each track that wants to participate, or if, say, several member want to have a forum for "ABC Track" (their favorite) so they can discuss happenings and things related to the track.

the benefits are:
1) the local track gets national exposure thru GoTeamsGo's link to them
2) both organizations develop a larger following which makes advertising revenues more lucrative
3) (optionally) the local track gets a forum on a top ranked sports talk discussion board without paying a dime.

That would be really cool. Our local track has gone to the dogs the last few years due to the promoter's greed and not wanting to do the upkeep on the tracks facilities or surface. Its a county owned kind of thing so there might be unforseen problems that the general public doesnt know. But if this was to stir up the nest and get people involved it might be worth the time spent.

Before you even email or call I would have the links added.. show them you are serious and not just out to gather back links but are serious about reciprocal links.

I would look up whois info and mail from there. Less is better when emailing and stick to the WIIFM principal.

Then follow up with a call the next day and state the membership base and point them to the link that's already added.

This from our local dirt track...

TULSA, Okla. (March 25, 2009) – With rain, cold temperatures and a potential winter mix of precipitation in the forecast, this weekend's Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters double at Oklahoma City's State Fair Speedway has been postponed.

Lucas Oil ASCS series officials are in discussions with State Fair Speedway promoter Lanny Edwards and track personnel to determine an appropriate makeup date.

The next scheduled event for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters is at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, AR, on Saturday night, April 18.

I'm going to Eldora Speedway on 3June for the Prelude to the Dream race and let me tell you all something! That is the coolest dirt track and I have more fun their then I did at Daytona! All that Tony does for that track and making renovations and such and keeping the people wanting more. Everyone comes from all around to see races their. I went back in Sept and I meet a couple who drove from Oregon to see a race USAC!
