Aric Amirola seemed to be all the talk last season .... this season he has a decent ride for Daytona .... and i have to believe if he does well he will be in more races as well

Who is the next big thing ? ...... which Nationwide driver needs a shot to land a Cup ride ?

Gosh, trying to pick only one is tough. Here's my list of candidates that need to move up to Cup:

• Carl Edwards

• Jamie McMurray
• Juan Montoya
• Joe Nemechek
• Ryan Newman

• David Reutimann
• David Stremme
• Brian Vickers
• Mike Wallace
• Kenny Wallace

It just seems to me that these guys are stuck in some sort of "limbo" and can't make the transition...

I’m still undecided on this "Cup Light" or "Bushwhackers" thing. Not sure if it’s a good or a bad thing.
Has anyone "defined" the actual purpose of this sub-series, and who or how it benefits the participants.

Assuming that it’s a "separate" series from Cup, than there is no purpose for these "bushwhackers" to participate, as they only steal the show and prize money.

Assuming it’s a "feeder" series for Cup, than having Cup drivers participate, may be a good thing as the Cup light drivers can learn from the pros and also pick up their game. Making the series a rookie test and proving ground.
