I got back on track with a solid finish...having the 1, 2 and 3 cars definitely helps the cause. Finished the week with a 346 and moved back into the top 2000 overall.

We get an extra day to pick our team members this week, since qualifying is tomorrow. But that does let us see how they run their practice laps today, weather permitting. Not that any of it matters once the race starts, since it's Talladega.

With the new rule I have no idea how this will turn out, not that I really did before. But this really throws a stick in the spokes. So here's my team for today. All I gotta say is...good luck!

I ended up with 276 points, which kept me 3rd for the fall, and moved me up 1 spot to 2nd for the year. Can't complain about that considering it was Talladega.

Amazingly enough, I jumped a bunch of people in the overall...definitely wasn't expecting that.

tho't I wasn't going to do very well, but I got 282 and moved up in position.

this week I'm going with a really weird bunch of drivers .. mostly 'cause all my "aces" have been used .. and I'm using a new method for selecting my drivers:

A) Carl Edwards, Mark Martin
B) Casey Mears, Jamie McMurray, Joe Logano, Martin Truex Jr.
C) Brad Keselowski, Tony Raines


Guess we'll see how well my new method works.
